The Brighton Grammar School Community congratulates Dylan Alcott on being awarded an OAM in the Australia Day Honours recognising his service to sport as a gold medallist at last year's Paralympic Games- our youngest Old Boy to have received such an award!

On receiving the OAM a very humble Dylan remarked, "I can't believe it, to be honest. It's a big honour."

It certainly has been a few golden months for Dylan who, despite all his sporting committments and successes last year, also scored a very impressive ENTER of 94.3.

What's next for Dylan? Well, Dylan plans to move to the US mid year after being awarded a sports scholarship to the University of Illinois in Chicago. No doubt there will be more exciting times ahead for Dylan which we will will monitoring closely. Well done, Dylan!
