Soccer Stars!

Great news on the soccer front!  Three of our senior soccer boys, Ben Dye (11R), Phil Georgiou (11R), and Christian Smak (12A ) recently competed in the selection trials for the Footy Superstar television program on Fox 8 and performed remarkably well!  Over 300 boys took part. Christian came in the top 20. Phil came 10th, and Ben came 1st!  With Ben and Phil in the top 10 they will now be ‘locked away’ this weekend with the top 50 from around Australia, from which the final squad will be named for the show.  The eventual winner gets a contract from Melbourne Victory!  We wish Ben and Phil all the best in the trials.
