All boys participate in sport and physical education. This builds their self-confidence, strengthens their self-discipline, develops their physical health and individual skills and provides a balance to their development.
Participation is encouraged at the level which best matches their ability. Elite athletes, beginners and team players all find an opportunity to excel in sports as diverse as our mainstream activities. These include Cricket, Football, Rowing and Tennis, plus other activities such as Scuba Diving, Touch Football, Badminton and Speedball.
Brighton Grammar's membership of the prestigious Associated Public Schools competition means that our boys can be involved at the top level in a range of high profile sports. Intraschool sport is conducted on a House basis.
The School has outstanding sporting facilities on campus, including a fully-equipped Physical Education Centre. There are also rowing facilities on the Yarra River, at Albert Park Lake and the National Rowing Centre at Carrum.
