The personal welfare of each boy at the School is of prime importance.
Each boy belongs to a Form, and it is the Form Teacher who is at the front line of pastoral care. In terms of standard day-to-day activities, the Form Teacher takes the caring role very seriously.
From Year 7 to Year 12, there is a Head-of-Year who has responsibility for much of the welfare role within the School.
In addition, there are three Chaplains, one each for the Junior School , the Middle School and the Senior School . There are also two professional student counsellors.
There is also a Peer Counselling Team of four students at each year level from Year 9 - 12. The Peer Counselling Team members receive basic training from the professional counsellors at the beginning of each year, to help them remain sensitive to the needs of the boys around them.
The Peer Counselling Team provides the boys with access to a peer level assistance point and it also serves as an additional link into the heartbeat of the student body for the professional counsellors.
