The Top Enders
The Top Enders is a group that first formed many years ago when four Old Boys, Geoff Bowell (1948), Andy McGuigan (1948), Roger Banks (1947) and Andrew Macdougall (1950 –Dec), who all worked at the “Top End” of Collins Street, Melbourne decided to meet for lunch on the last Thursday of every even month. The Top Enders group has grown substantially since then (77 members) and still meets on the same days.
In February each year, the Top Enders gather for lunch overlooking the hallowed turf of the Crowther Oval to watch the 1st XI play their first home game of the year and join the team for afternoon tea in the Rosstrevor Hall.
