BGS goes Global!

Earlier this month, the Year 10 Drama and English Literature classes combined to attend an amazing interactive Shakespearean performance of Shakespeare’s Henry V at the Pop-up Globe near the Myer Music Bowl.

Crammed within the Wooden ‘O’, we were transported back to the vasty fields of France, to the battlefield of Agincourt in 1415. We got to cry for Harry, England and St George as well as shake the King’s hand. Those boys game enough to stand in the groundlings’ area at the front of stage came away stained by battle blood. It was truly a dramatic experience that all the boys and staff will remember as their chance to ‘behold the swelling scene’!
