What’s it about?

For over 25 years Old Brighton has participated in the APS Old Collegians Amateur Athletic Association winter running competition in and around Melbourne.  It’s a great way to keep fit, motivated and have fun with friends and family. Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome. It is usual for the field to contain runners from under 10 to over 70 years of age, as well as about 30% female runners.  There are team premierships and individual awards for both men and women. The winter running season provides a vibrant, exciting competition for both elite runners and ‘weekend joggers’ alike.

Events

  • There are 12 runs during the season, normally held on a Saturday
  • Locations include Brighton Beach, the Tan, Albert Park, Scotch College, Yarra Bend, St Kevin’s College, Burke Hall – Xavier,
  • Run distances vary from 4 -10km.
  • The first run of the season is early April and the last run is in September.
