Brighton Grammar School Junior Parents Group Family Fun Night

The parents group for parents of boys in the Junior School is known as the Junior Parents Group (the JPG).

The JPG’s purpose is to facilitate: Connectedness, Communication & Contribution.

We believe creating a strong sense of community among the families of the Junior School enhances the BGS experience for every boy and his family.

Run by a volunteer committee, the JPG manages an extensive range of activities that contribute to School life. These include

  • Junior School Welcome Picnic
  • Orientation Nights
  • Grandparent and Special Friend Days
  • Father and Son events
  • Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day events
  • Easter Raffle
  • Family Fun night
  • End of Term lunches
  • Provision of funds for the enhancement of the Junior School

The JPG meet on the first Tuesday of each month during School term. Attending these meetings gives parents a greater understanding of the day-to-day life of the School.  Being involved also demonstrates to the boys that we consider the School to be a very important part of family life. The JPG warmly invites ALL parents to attend the JPG meetings and encourages you to become actively involved in the life of the School. Please contact Junior School Reception for more information.
