Letter Hunt

Literacy and sensory fun in a simple letter hunt to help your toddler learn about the letters in the alphabet.

Things You Will Need:

  • Alphabet letters 
  • Corn meal 
  • Small storage tub 
  • Paper  
  • Pen 

 
Hide letters throughout the storage container.

Using your hands, dig to find alphabet letters and match up with same letters elsewhere (on paper, in a picture story book).

For older children, they could find an object in the room that begins with the same letter or sound.
