Scott knows a thing or two about retail. With 20 years at leading global retailer Marks & Spencer, Scott worked in a wide variety of senior roles spanning buying, merchandising and sourcing. As Director of Womenswear, Scott was responsible for the merchandising and sourcing of the UK’s biggest womenswear retailer and as Director of Menswear and Kidswear he delivered the most profitable Menswear performance in 10 years.

Relocating to Melbourne to head up Country Road Group in 2017, Scott built up a world class team to re-establish Country Road Group’s iconic brands before accepting the role of CEO David Jones in October 2020.  As the fifth CEO in six years, Scott knows his latest role could be his most challenging but with an incredibly strong track record of transformation and strategic delivery, Scott is well placed.
