Interactive Excellence Award for Brighton Grammar iDesign
iDesign is an individual project that all Year 8 Brighton Grammar School students undertake throughout terms 1 to 3 each year. This project provides the opportunity for students to demonstrate independence and originality and to plan and organise a larger project over a longer period. The true success of the project lies within the relationship between the student and their mentor. Through the selection of their own mentor the students have been able to tap into valuable resources that are easily accessible. The students are then able to put into practice some of the new skills they will have learned from their mentor as they complete their projects in the following categories: Sustainability, Innovation & Creativity.
This year the iDesign projects have surpassed all of our expectations and the credit for the quality and success of the program lies with the students, the school, their mentors and families.
