Relay for Life team awarded

Congratulations to our Year 6 2016 Relay for Life team, who ran overnight last year (in the rain!) to raise more than $15,000 for cancer research. As a result, a Research Award has been granted in the name of Brighton Grammar Junior School.

We have submitted a range of Cancer Council research projects towards which we’d like our award to go, and eagerly await notification of which project will bear our name.

Many boys, families and teachers contributed to this amazing fundraising effort, and we are very proud of our achievement. The Middle School team raised almost $8000.

This year’s Relay for Life will be held on the weekend of 9–10 September and we encourage Year 6, 7 and 8 boys to get involved.
