Year 6 boys in Pormpuraaw 2018

Eight Year 6 boys headed up to the remote Indigenous community of Pormpuraaw in June 2018. The town is on the Gulf of Carpentaria about 500km’s from the tip of Cape York. The boys spent the week getting to know the local kids and learning about all aspects of community life. It was great to see our boys quickly form a strong new friendship with the people from this unique and incredible part of Australia. Enjoy this Teacher-made video providing a snapshot of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
