Isaac’s talent on show

Year 11 student Isaac Lee is currently competing in the prestigious Radio 3MBS instrumental competition, The Talent.

The competition provides opportunities for emerging musicians to bridge the gap between their student and professional careers. To be selected to participate in this competition is an honour in itself.

On 3 August, Isaac performed three pieces on the cello in the 3MBS studio and was interviewed by the host of the program. He received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the two adjudicators, and demonstrated phenomenal dedication to his craft. You can listen to the episode and vote for Isaac here.

Isaac is studying VCE Music and is an active member of our school ensembles – Cello Choir, Corelli String Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra.

He is an Outdoor Education Leader, a member of the Debating team and has been awarded school colours in music, academics and sailing.

His community service activities include performing for residents in nursing homes, audiences living in regional areas, charity groups and community centres such as the Brotherhood of St Lawrence.
