A breakfast with Joshua Ball (OB 2013), co-founder of Farmers Pick.

Our next BGS Business Breakfast is on Monday 16 June at Royal Brighton Yacht Club at 7.00am.

In 2020, Joshua Ball (OB 2013) and a friend co-founded Farmers Pick, aiming to tackle the pressing issue of food waste in Australia.

Farmers Pick offers a subscription-based service that delivers unconventional yet fresh produce directly to consumers, promoting sustainability and reducing food waste. The company’s mission resonated with many, leading to rapid growth. Since inception, Farmers Pick has saved over 10 million kilograms of produce and expanded to a team of 120 employees.

Joshua Ball’s leadership and commitment to sustainability have positioned Farmers Pick as a significant player in the fight against food waste in Australia. By leveraging technology and community engagement, the company continues to make a positive impact on both the environment and the economy.

Join us at our Business Breakfast on Monday 16 June to understand how a business steeped in strong values has resonated with so many Australians.

Join us at 7.00am (for a 7.30am start) at the Brighton Yacht Club to hear from Joshua.
