BGS outruns the competition

In a display of speed, strategy, and (un)surprising athleticism, BGS staff participated in the 2026 Corporate Relay Run at the St Kilda Catani Gardens. In beautiful autumnal conditions, it was a showcase of dogged, but always friendly, competition.

Comprising members from across the Junior School, Secondary School and Professional Support, we entered seven staff teams for the 3 x 5km race.

Thank you to all runners for their precious Sunday mornings and team-lifting energy. Every team and each runner performed admirably in a field of more than 150 teams. A special mention to:

• Jacqui Braun and Aaron French (2^nd in Mixed and 3^rd Overall)
• Elodie Lyoen, Matt Barker and Michael Hilton (3^rd in Mixed and 7^th Overall)
• Peter Waterhouse and Rob Hayward (2^nd in Male and 4^th Overall)

Talks about Connor’s Run later this year as well as the 2027 event are well underway.
