Inventi Ensemble visit

Boys in Year 5 and 6 had the privilege of attending a music incursion by the renowned 'Inventi' ensemble.

This chamber music group is one of the most active in Australia, comprising of violin, viola, cello, bassoon, oboe, and flute. Their visit to BGS marked their second appearance, and it was wonderful to hear their rendition of Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances, among other pieces.

Part of being a skilled musician is to be inspired by professional musicians performing on your instrument. The boys were in awe and enjoyed learning about the ensemble and instrumental techniques they used in their performance. It was an invaluable and inspiring afternoon of music!
