Dr Ray Swann
Deputy Headmaster, Head of the Crowther CentreAs we farewell our Year 12 Valedictorians and welcome our 2027 new students and families for their transition days, we are reminded that schools are places of continual growth.
Transitions bring excitement, hope and possibility, alongside understandable uncertainty. That is why we place such value on the traditions that acknowledge important milestones and aim to help families feel welcomed and supported.
Similarly, our parent programs are designed to walk alongside families throughout their son’s journey, strengthening the three-cornered partnership between school, student and home. By translating the latest research into practical strategies and conversations, we support parents to respond confidently to the opportunities and challenges that arise at each age and stage.

Whether you are welcoming a new son to the School this year or have recently celebrated the graduation of your Year 12 student, we wish you and your family every success in the chapter ahead.
As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions. If there are particular learning, wellbeing or parenting topics you would like us to explore, please do not hesitate to reach out.
