Innovation and Entrepreneurship Tour
Behind the scenes opportunitiesOver the recent term break, 12 Brighton Grammar students embarked on the journey of a lifetime across the Pacific for the 2026 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Tour. The tour was an overwhelming success, and the boys returned home deeply inspired, full of new ideas, and having genuinely loved the experience.
The itinerary was packed with world class, behind the scenes opportunities. In Seattle, the boys engaged in hands-on design thinking at the Bill and Melinda Gates Discovery Center, explored the history and future of aerospace at the Museum of Flight, and participated in a fantastic entrepreneurial storytelling workshop at Seattle University’s Albers School of Business.
In San Francisco, the global epicentre of tech, our students stepped directly into the shoes of future leaders. Highlights included a customised program at the Silicon Valley Innovation Center, learning at the AWS Skills Center, and walking the historic campuses of Stanford University and UC Berkeley.
A fitting finale was watching a live Harvard University Pitch Event at the Plug & Play HQ, which challenged the boys to think big about their own potential! (And of course, cheering at the Giants vs. Dodgers baseball game at Oracle Park was an unforgettable cultural highlight).
Throughout it all, the boys were outstanding ambassadors for Brighton Grammar, demonstrating the School’s core values of Passion, Respect, Accountability, and Integrity at every venue.
Thank you to the parents for your unwavering support, your commitment to co-curricular learning, and your partnership in getting this tour off the ground. These transformative experiences simply do not happen without your backing.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Katherine Konstantinidis for her tireless hard work, organisational skills, and endless care for the boys, which ensured that every aspect of this tour ran seamlessly.
We cannot wait to see how these young innovators take the lessons they’ve learned and apply them to their own bright futures.
