International MasterChef
Cultural celebrationFollowing on from last year’s huge success, the international student community proudly hosted the MasterChef Cooking Competition once again.
This memorable cultural celebration brought together many students from non-English speaking backgrounds along with our Headmaster and many teachers who supported the boys and judged the competition. This event highlighted a strong sense of belonging and friendship that continues to define our international community.

Throughout the afternoon, students had the opportunity to engage with one another through conversations, preparation and teamwork which was highly reflected within the quality of each dish produced. The atmosphere was energetic and welcoming, with everyone embracing the chance to learn more about different traditions and enjoying the outstanding creations of the boys.
This event, along with supportive staff, helped create a warm and inclusive environment where all students could proudly showcase their culinary talents.

Their involvement encouraged meaningful interaction between boys and continue to strengthen the sense of community across the school.
After hearing many reports, the main highlight of the night was listening to the boys introduce what they had made and what it meant to them. Dishes featured were from a wide variety of cultural traditions, from classic Asian favourites to delicious Western flavours.

The night was more than just a competition as it also celebrated the values of inclusion, respect and appreciation of the school towards our international community. We look forward to continuing these traditions and creating even more opportunities for students to connect in the future.
