Mural Collaboration
Creativity and connectionBayley House has enjoyed a longstanding partnership with our school, with students generously contributing their time and creativity to mural projects over many years.
More recently, this partnership has continued at Bayley Arts. Two years ago, Brighton Grammar School students worked with artist Aileen Ng to create the first mural along the Bayley Arts driveway, bringing colour and energy to the site’s entrance.

This year, as part of Service Learning Week, Year 9 students returned to Bayley Arts for a second mural project, this time led by artist Noni Drew. Over five days, BGS boys worked alongside Bayley artists to base coat, draw up and paint a beautiful new mural for the Bayley Arts community.
Despite the wild winter weather, the project was filled with creativity, teamwork and plenty of good humour and many positive and meaningful connections were formed between Bayley artists and students.

The project created opportunities for everyone involved to collaborate, share ideas and learn from one another while contributing to a lasting artwork for the site.
As well as working on the mural, students also contributed valuable community service at Bayley Arts, supporting the space while building genuine connections with Bayley artists and the wider Bayley community.
