A legacy of belonging

Dr Ray Swann and Christian Machar presented at the IBSC (International Boys’ Schools Coalition) Regional Conference in Adelaide last week. The title of the conference was Bucking the trend – What works for boys? and our staff members spoke about the BGS pilot program, the Legacy Project. In particular, Ray spoke about the importance of a school’s culture – “that sense of identity and belonging” – and how examples of positive masculinity are vital to a well-rounded education.
