Dalziel Club

2015 APS AFL Premiership Team, Brighton grammar School

Dalziel Club

Established in 2007 the Dalziel Club is the BGS support group for Australian Rules Football and is dedicated to the celebration, promotion and development of football at the School. The Club is named after Mr. Danny Dalziel.

Danny was our 1st XVIII coach for many seasons and coached our first APS Football Premiership in 1975.

The key objectives are:

  •      To assist the School to meet their football development objectives.
  •      To support Staff members to enrich and extend the football program.
  •      To assist through fundraising activities
  •      To facilitate social interaction between parents of footballers through activities and events.
  •      To assist to raise the profile and standard of football at the school

The Dalziel Club aims to not only assist in developing football at School, but also provides parents, supporters and Old Boys who share a love of football the chance to socialise during the season.

The best way to support BGS Football is to become a membership of the Club.  Membership to the Dalziel Club is open to all current and past parents of BGS footballers, past BGS footballers and other Old Boys, and all other supporters of BGS football.
