Dance Night 2024
A magical eveningBGS Dance Night 2024 exploded onto the Rosstrevor Hall stage last Friday night and showed a strong, confident and versatile display of skills from our BGS Dance Troupes.
Classes from the Junior School (3W, 4C and 5P) joined Secondary School students and brought the school together in dance.
This year, BGS offered Dance as a Winter Sport, so the inaugural medal ceremony made the evening a historic event. Renzo Lee (Year 8) won the Technical Improvement Award, Corey Dow (Year 11) won the Coaches’ Award and the MVP Medal, The Marcus Morelli Medal, was awarded to Lachlan Wiseman (Year 9).
Students from Firbank Grammar performed and there was a special appearance from the Legends of Dance.
A total of 32 students from The Hutchins School travelled from Hobart to perform in our Dance Night too and the Hutchins and BGS students performed in a combined routine to Beautiful Things which made for a spectacular finale.
Bravo BGS.
