BGS Book Week – Curious & Wild Minds

Join us in celebrating BGS Book Week over the last two weeks of October. Earn house points and win prizes by taking on the BGS Book Challenge.

Spark your Curiosity in a Writing Masterclass with award-winning author, Holden Shepherd and let your imagination run wild in a Comic Book Illustration Masterclass with celebrated illustrator, Campbell Whyte.

We will mark the end of BGS Book Week with Drop Everything and Read on Friday 30 October.

Events

• Monday 19 October Lunchtime in the Library: Let your imagination run wild in a Comic Book Illustration Masterclass with Campbell Whyte, celebrated illustrator of Home Time.
• Wednesday 21 October Lunchtime in the Library: Spark your Curiosity in a Writing Masterclass with Holden Sheppard, award-winning author of Invisible Boys.

Activities

Boys can earn House points and win prizes by taking on the Book Challenge. Beginning Monday 19 October and running over two weeks, there will be a daily photo or video challenge posted on The Oak for students and staff.

Help us to promote the Book Challenge in tutor group over the next two weeks by displaying the daily photo/video challenge posted on The Oak and encouraging the boys to take on the challenge.
