Exceptional athletics performances

Perseverance, skill, and sportsmanship

Our School’s athletes delivered exceptional performances at the recent Athletics Championships, bringing home multiple medals and achieving outstanding personal bests.

Medal winners included:

  • Archie Sideridis (Under 15): Gold in 1500m (4:15.41) and 3000m (9:20.90)
  • Theodore Bowen (Under 15): Silver in High Jump (1.74m) and Long Jump (5.92m)
  • Ariel Friedrich (Under 15): Bronze in 800m (2:10.51)
  • Leopold Reeve (Male P20): Gold in 800m (2:10.60) and 1500m (4:24.84), setting two national records in the Male U20 T37 classification. He has also qualified for the Australian National Championships in Perth this April.
  • Hugh Kabengele (Open): Bronze in 100m (10.95)

Notable performances:

  • Hugh Kabengele (Open): 6th in 200m (22.39)
  • Maximilian Reeve (Male 17): 15th in 1500m (4:19.97) and 4th in 2000m Steeplechase (6:41.36)
  • Mitchell Carney (Male 17): 4th in Triple Jump (12.48m) and a strong showing in 100m (12.35)
  • Jesper Bignell (Under 16): 16th in 1500m (4:25.05)

Our athletes demonstrated incredible perseverance, skill, and sportsmanship, competing against some of the best in the country. A special congratulations to Leopold Reeve for setting two national records and earning a place in the upcoming Australian National Championships.
