Go Grey in May

To kick off Go Grey in May, the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation set up pop-up shops on the first two Fridays of May around the school.

They began in the Tower end of the Secondary School with a store selling everything from the classic RCD t-shirts and hoodies, to candles and beanies. Years 9-12 boys were very keen to buy some merchandise not only for themselves, but for their Mother’s Day gift for the upcoming Sunday.

Next Friday, the store was set up in the Urwin Centre for Years 7 and 8 boys. This was again a massive hit with many of the young men, as well as many of their teachers, rushing to the front of the line as soon as the lunch bell rang.

The best sellers were of course the famous RCD beanies as well as the Aeternum Fortis grey hoodies. Overall, these stores have been very successful in setting up this year’s RCD activities, further building the long-running Tonner support for this great foundation.

Brighton Grammar has begun the Connor’s Run fundraising campaign strong, raising over $3,500 thus far.  Be sure to register for this year’s run  here
