Last week we supported Brain Week in honour of the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, a cause close to the hearts of everyone in the BGS community. On Thursday, our Senior and Middle School students held a casual clothes day, wearing something grey and donating a gold coin to ‘#GoGreyInMay’. The Middle School boys sold RCD merchandise to help raise additional funds. Across Australia, more than 20 secondary schools helped to raise approximately $25,000 for the Foundation.
Connor Dawes (OB 2012) died as the result of a brain tumour soon after completing Year 12. If you would like to read more about the RCD fund or add to our support, go to http://rcdfoundation.org
