International Students Get Together

By Jason Jin, International student Captain

The Year 10-12 international student cohort from BGS and Firbank Grammar got together recently to share ideas and lunch in the Atrium.

International student captains from both schools organised the event which included a barbeque lunch and games which were a lot of fun.

Over 60 students took part which shows that international students regard social relations as an important part of their school life. Activities such as the lunch motivate students, both academically and socially, and allow them to get to know each other and learn from each other.

Special thanks to Mr Liddle for cooking the sausages and to Mrs Lynch for her continued support. I hope that we can maintain this positive social relationship between the schools.
