BGS shortlisted for ISV Film Festival 2020

Congratulations to Zac Ristevski, Year 8, for his Stop Motion Animation work being selected for screening in the Independent Schools Victoria 2020 Film Festival.

Zac’s Stop Motion Animation film produced in his Creative Design and Technology class was nominated as one representative of Brighton Grammar School for this competition.

His film ‘Isolation: The Hunk, The Chunk and The Drunk,’ was well developed, demonstrating three potential scenarios affecting individuals in lockdown.

The ISV 2020 Film Festival opened for screening on 4 November. This work, along with other shortlisted films from ISV schools, will be shown in the digital premiere and be eligible for awards within this festival.

In this festival, you can vote for your favourite screened film in the upcoming People’s Choice Awards.  All Technical and Creative Awards selected by the guest judge filmmaker David Swann will be announced during screening of the ISV 2020 Film Festival from 4 – 30 November.

The Visual Arts team at BGS strongly encourages all BGS students to have a virtual ‘trip to the movies,’ to watch Zac’s and other students work in this premiere.

Congratulations Zac, we look forward to seeing the screening of your work at the ISV 2020 Film Festival.
