Melville is Winning House

Historic first win!

Congratulations to Melville House for taking out the 2025 Secondary School House Trophy, the Cock House Cup.

The trophy is perhaps the most coveted one at Brighton Grammar School.

The competition is a tally of points accumulated over fiercely contested House events, including House Swimming, Founder’s Day Quiz, House Streetball, House Debating, House Drama, House Choral, House Chess, Spelling Bee, House Portrait, House Futsal and House Athletics.

As one of the two new Houses introduced in 2024, the win is a historic moment for Head of House Josh Moore, Melville House Captain Billy Burgess and all Melvillians, as they take out their first ever House Trophy.
