Model United Nations

We are immensely proud of Year 11 students Hunter Panahi and Julian Carlin who recently participated in a Model United Nations conference.

During the conference at McKinnon Secondary College, Hunter and Julian represented Japan and tackled the crucial issue of Zero Hunger. They showcased their exceptional diplomatic skills, engaging in stimulating debates, negotiations, and problem-solving sessions.

The students collaborated with delegates from various nations, fostering global understanding and empathy. Together, they explored innovative strategies to combat hunger and ensure food security for all.

Ultimately, the day provided the students the opportunity to be global citizens and champions for positive change.

Congratulations also to Jenson Galvin and Erik Kyparisis, both Year 12, who were awarded the Best Team for the 2023 Rotary District Model United Nations Assembly.

These students will be flown to Canberra to compete in the national competition in August.
