String sensations

Congratulations to the three incredible BGS students who were awarded the prestigious Associate Diploma in Music at a ceremony held on Sunday.

Raymond Wang, Year 7, achieved this remarkable distinction at just 11 years of age, guided by our Music staff. His achievement reflects years of focused practice, musicality, and an impressive command of the violin well beyond his years.

Isaac Goh, Year 8, earned his Associate Diploma at age 12 – a milestone that speaks to his exceptional musical aptitude and the hours of commitment he has devoted to mastering the violin. His achievement is a wonderful reflection of his passion and perseverance.

Yiding Hong, Year 11, achieved this remarkable distinction at just 15 years of age – an exceptional accomplishment for a double bass player. It is rare to see a musician on such a large and demanding instrument reach this level so early. Yiding is currently undertaking VCE Music Repertoire, continuing to develop his artistry and musical maturity.
