Outstanding Tenors
Generations in JazzA group of 47 Brighton Grammar music and choral students, supported by dedicated BGS staff and parents, delivered outstanding performances at the Generations in Jazz Festival in Mt Gambier, South Australia.
Facing fierce competition and an exceptionally high standard of performance from music specialist schools and jazz choirs across the country, members of the Senior Big Band, Intermediate Big Band, Small Jazz Combo and Ten Tonners rose to the challenge.
A particular highlight was the 10 Tonners tenor section, with Connor Giles, Kenneth Yeung and Max Zhou awarded Most Outstanding Tenor Section across all choirs in their division.
The commitment and hard work of the boys and staff culminated in a highly successful competition experience.
