The 2023 Scholars return

It’s been a warm day to match an even warmer welcome for our returning academic high achievers and their families at the Scholar’s Assembly. On a stage that seems to be getting smaller as the number of high achieving scholars continues to rise, the scholars were awarded their prizes and celebrated before an assembled Secondary School.

The 2023 Dux of School David Yang spoke with humility with a message of resilience in the face of failures to the students who will all embark upon their final exams soon enough.

The day is also a time to reminisce, to catch up with good friends and proud teachers, as the scholars inspect their old study haunt in the Hancock Wing, and view their names, now newly added to the Wall of Scholars, which holds pride of place and is ready to inspire the next class of scholars.
