Dr Ray Swann
Deputy Headmaster, Head of the Crowther CentreJoin us on the gate this week, an important moment each day where staff greet or farewell the boys, perhaps share a moment from the day, and of course remind them of our uniform expectations. It might seem inconsequential, but there are some great lessons in learning the value of presenting ourselves well, and maintaining a high standard demonstrates commitment to taking care of ourselves.
Chatting on the gate also provides a great opportunity for the boys to practise their social fitness skills, which we know are so important as they prepare for life beyond school.
Today you will hear from James, who is in Year 10, sharing his thoughts about why he thinks it’s important to wear the uniform well, and also some insights into our new mobile phone policy. (A small hint – the feedback is positive!)
If there is anything you would like to hear more about, please reach out to the Crowther team.
Until next week, enjoy your learning.
