Dr Ray Swann

Deputy Headmaster, Head of the Crowther Centre

This week we attended assembly in the Junior School to celebrate some Term 3 achievements.

Celebrating success is important. While honouring the efforts of the boys, it also serves to inspire their peers.

During this term, the boys have demonstrated their commitment to academic learning, music, APS sport, the Year 6 musical and the House public speaking competition.

Each year-level winner of the public speaking competition bravely presented to the whole assembly group and received their medal. We also celebrated the efforts of the Year 5 and 6 boys in their APS Winter sports and recognised the boys whose fathers or grandfathers attended BGS, presenting them with their special Generations badge.

After a busy term, I hope you have a chance to relax and spend time with friends and family over the break.

As always, if you have any suggestions about what you’d like to see in the eNews, please contact us at the Crowther Centre.
