The first week of Term 1 is always an exciting time for us here at Brighton Grammar. There is an optimistic and hopeful energy that is palpable around the grounds. None more so than this year, as our older boys enjoy learning in our brand-new Duigan Centre.

Come with us as we take a brief look at some of the artefacts inspiring our students on their learning journey.

We hope that many of you will join us online next week for our important Boys and Screens webinar, and we will continue to share regular Crowther updates in our weekly eNews.

Ready to Learn Workshop for Year 7 parents

Many students find the transition to secondary school challenging as they move from the one-room, one-teacher model of primary school, to one where they are moving between classes and trying to balance many competing demands.

During our workshop designed for Year 7 parents, Kristen Molloy from the Crowther Centre and Kirsten Dunsby, Head of Year 7, will discuss what it means to be ‘ready to learn’, particularly in relation to executive function and self-regulation, and how you can help foster and support your son through the early challenges of secondary school.

Please join us.
