Dr Ray Swann
Deputy Headmaster, Head of the Crowther CentreToday we head over to soak up the hustle and bustle of the Urwin Centre, the home of our Year 7 and 8 students. We join Ms Zekirija and her Year 8s as they prepare for their Health and Physical Education swimming class. We talk about why the swimming program is important, and what the boys will achieve.
We chat to James, who despite having a fractured elbow, explains how he manages his time, gets himself organised and ready to learn.
On a cold but sunny winter day, it was heartwarming to see the energy and enthusiasm of these young men. They are gradually developing independence as they progress towards the upper Senior years.
If you have any suggestions about what you’d like to see in next week’s eNews, please contact us at the Crowther Centre.
