BGS+ D&T: Make a Toolbox

From Brighton Grammar’s Junior School Design and Technology department comes an exciting opportunity for students to further their woodwork skills. In making a toolbox, each student will have a catalyst to start building up a tool collection to make more projects at home …. And maybe beyond!

This is a six-week program for Year 3 and 4 students, on Mondays – 3.30 to 4.45pm.

The program is capped at 10 participants per session.

Learning Intention and Success Criteria

Students will learn to use a range of woodwork tools safely and understand their function as well as their operation. They will then be able to read plans and use appropriate tools safely to measure, square, saw, nail, drill, screw, sand and construct a toolbox.
