Building on the State and National championship success of Brighton Grammar’s STEM Racing team, the BGS+ SIM Racing Program brings the excitement of motorsport to students in Years 5 to 12 using cutting-edge driving simulators.
This innovative program combines live coaching, AI analysis, and professional-grade equipment to teach authentic racing skills on world-famous circuits such as Albert Park (F1 25) and Bathurst (Assetto Corsa Competizione).
With sessions capped at just five students, every participant receives personalised, hands-on coaching to learn, improve, and race like a pro.
Introduction to SIM Racing Program (Years 5-12): Learn Authentic Motorsport Skills on Professional Simulators
The BGS+ SIM Racing Program offers students in Years 5–12 the opportunity to experience motorsport using professional racing simulators. Drawing inspiration from Brighton Grammar’s award-winning STEM Racing curriculum, the program develops racecraft, technical driving skills, and teamwork in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.
Through experience, we have developed the program to focus on enjoyment first. Students are encouraged to explore racing, compete with friends, and develop their skills at their own pace. By creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, students naturally build their skills while maintaining their interest helping them to stay engaged and always looking forward to their next session.
Most of our students use F1 25, allowing them to race modern Formula 1 cars on a wide range of iconic circuits. For boys who want to explore further or challenge themselves, Assetto Corsa Competizione and iRacing are also available, giving them the chance to experience different racing categories and more advanced simulation platforms.
Online racing is now available, allowing students to compete against other drivers and experience a more competitive side of sim racing if they choose in a completely safe environment.
Each session is designed to maximise time on the simulators, allowing students to start driving as soon as they arrive. They can practice, race, and explore different tracks and cars, with guidance and coaching available throughout for those who want to refine their skills or learn more about racing techniques.
The program is designed to be accessible, social, and enjoyable, while naturally helping students develop real motorsport skills through experience and participation.

Location: Rosstrevor, BGS Secondary School
JS Students will be taken to Rosstrevor from the Junior School by a staff member.
JS Parents are to pick up students directly from Rosstrevor at 5.30pm.

Term fee $450
Term fee includes one session per week

Cancellations
Cancellations will be accepted within 7 days from the invoice issue date each term. Withdrawals outside of this timeframe incur an administration fee of $50.
