F1 in Schools 2024 National Champions!
BGS Team Lunar has been crowned 2024 National Champions (Professional Class), taking out 1st place in the F1 in Schools National Finals in Adelaide.
It’s an amazing accomplishment. F1 in Schools is an intensive multi-disciplinary STEM challenge with approximately 22,000 participants in Australia every year, requiring a lot of hard work and dedication.
For Team Lunar, there will be even more challenges to come, as team members now look ahead to the F1 in Schools World Finals where they’ll be representing Australia.
Congratulations to the Year 10 students of Team Lunar: Leo Jansen, Oliver Chernikeeff, Liam Jones, Carey Tong and Max Zilberman. Well done, you did it!
Team Lunar joins previous BGS teams Constellation (Professional) and Livewire (Development) who were 2021 National Champions.
