International Student Enrolments

The focus of Brighton Grammar School is to ensure each boy is nurtured and stretched to ensure he reaches his personal best in every endeavour. While academic success is our number one priority, we also have a diverse range of other activities on offer including sports, music, performing arts and cultural programs.

Brighton Grammar School welcomes and values international enrolments from Prep through to Year 12 (VCE). Boys are encouraged to hold on to their cultures, values, traditions and integrity whilst immersing themselves in the Australian cultures and education and making life long connections along the way.

Brighton Grammar school is registered with the VRQA as CRICOS provider 00132K and is an approved provider of education in the following courses:

  • Primary Studies (P-6) code 012236C, and;
  • Secondary Studies (7-12) code 005299B

Boys are welcome at any entry level as long as there is capacity within the current cohort and the minimum English language requirements can be met.

For more details on the enrolment process and language requirements please see the International student handbook (PDF).

Enrolling at BGS

Brighton Grammar welcomes enrolment enquiries directly from families or via an international recruitment agency. Brighton Grammar will only engage with ethical and honest agents who know and understand the Australian international education and training agent code of ethics.

BGS has agreements in place with the following authorised agencies (PDF).

We encourage all families and their sons to read the International student handbook (PDF) in order to find out more about the school and living and studying in Australia.

For further enquires about enrolling at BGS please contact our Admissions Coordinator Rebecca Darling via email or on +61 03 8591 2200, or complete the International student enrolment form.

Living and studying in Australia

While Brighton Grammar encourages parents to live in Australia while their child is studying at the school, we also welcome boys who wish to reside in homestay arrangements (provided they are over the age of 13).

All students, whether they are living with family or in homestay will be introduced to our International Liaison officer and provided with a support person prior to commencement at BGS.

BGS also has a large parent support network that meets regularly in order support the parents of international students while their son studies in Australia. The parent support group is managed by our International Liaison officer.
