We were thrilled to see several BGS staff presenting at the regional IBSC conference in Adelaide earlier this week, highlighting that learning is just as important for our staff as our students. With workshops relating to the theme, Cultivatin,g Humanity: A Compelling Responsibility in Boys’ Education, our staff shared practical strategies to support boys’ development in a rapidly evolving world.

Sharing ideas with peers from boys’ schools around the world, there were many productive discussions, questions and opportunities for collaboration as we face similar challenges and opportunities.

Closer to home, many of our secondary students are in the final week of rehearsals for the Brighton Grammar and Firbank Grammar combined senior production kicking off next week. We hope to see you there, supporting our talented students who have been working tirelessly to bring Rock of Ages to the stage. Think Don’t Stop Believin’ and Hit Me with Your Best Shot … basically a night of iconic 80s anthems.

And don’t forget to book in for our wonderful Year 7 and Year 8 parent / son book clubs on 13 May 13 and 20 May.

Finally, we wish all the mums a happy Mother’s Day on Sunday.

If you have any areas of learning you would like to hear more about, please reach out to the Crowther team.
