Welcome to BGS+ Futsal

BGS+ Futsal has been established to:

• Support the School’s futsal competition program in Football Victoria and FV Associated competitions

• Provide futsal training and competitive opportunities for the BGS community and the broader Bayside area

• Deliver a high-performance off-season program for players in the School Soccer Academy and the wider Bayside soccer community

The BGS+ Futsal program and methodology are designed by Kogulan Sabaratnam, Director of BGS+, who holds an FA/AFC A Licence and an AFC Level 1 Futsal Licence. The program is overseen by Andy Burnett, Head of BGS+ Soccer and Futsal, who holds an AFC/FFA B Licence.

BGS+ Futsal Optional Tournaments

In addition to the Term 4 competition that runs during the Soccer off season, BGS+ Futsal will provide our players with the following optional extra tournaments and competitions.

Wednesday Night – U12–U15 Girls League

• Dates: October 8 – November 26

• Time: 6:00–8:00pm

• Format: 40 minutes (2 x 20 min halves)

• Minimum 5 players per team

Thursday Night – Open Men’s League

• Time: 6:00–8:00pm

• Format: 40 minutes (2 x 20 min halves)

Game Fee: $80 per team, per game (payable upfront for the season or week-to-week via EFTPOS – no cash)

Registration Fee: $80 (once-off, per team)

Bond Fee: $80 (refundable and applied to the final game of the season – cannot be used to cover a forfeit)

Registration and bond fees are due by Week 2 of the competition
