BGS+ Swim Squad Program

Squad and development program

BGS+ Swim Squad Program

The BGS+ Swim squad program offers a multi-level systematic approach to teaching swimming which will ensure swimmers will continue to enjoy the sport of swimming while developing their swimming abilities.

Swimmers must attend an assessment before enrolment.

All enquiries to swim@brightongrammar.vic.edu.au

The Squad program does not include competition swimming, however it is strongly recommended that squad swimmers join the BGS+ Swimming Club. Swimmers must become swimming club members to compete at interclub, regional, state, and national level competitions.

How to Join

To join the BGS+ Swim Squad program, complete an enquiry form and a member of the team will be in contact. The squad program is open to boys and girls in the wider community, you don’t have to be a Brighton Grammar student to join.

*For BGS students, please note the BGS+ Swim Squad program here is external to the APS Sport BGS Swim competition. For all queries regarding BGS Swim at school, check your Schoolbox or contact Teacher in Charge BGS Aquatics Tim Blackwood.

Open to the wider community (you do not have to be a BGS student)
