Occupational Therapist Dr Brian Hoare, has given independence to children with cerebral palsy (CP) through research, teaching, and clinical practice.

Brian completed his PHD in 2000 where he evaluated the effects of upper limb therapy following botox treatment.

His innovative research established him as a global OT expert in the field of paediatric CP.

In 2012, Brian founded CPteaching, a teaching program  that aims to translate research findings into evidence-  based clinical practice. In 2013, Brian developed a mobile application known as CPtoys™ to improve the effectiveness of treatment for children with CP.

In 2014, Brian was appointed an Honorary Research Fellow at Australian Catholic University.
