London born, Japanese actor Masa Yamaguchi, attended BGS in Year 10, 11 and 12 during which time he was a homestay student in Bentleigh.

After initially studying fashion at RMIT, Masa went on to NIDA to study acting, and graduated with a degree in Performing Arts in 2001.    

Since graduating he has had substantial roles in many hit movies, including Wolverine, The Railway Man, Star Wars 3, and Tomorrow when the war began, as well as roles on TV and the stage.
